Guides’ Top Choice was founded as a way to enhance the wilderness adventure experience by connecting adventurers with the accrued knowledge and expertise that our outdoor professional men and women have. That knowledge is harvested, synthesized and carefully curated to help inform product and gear choices for our users and to inform other aspects of their upcoming wilderness adventures. This is not a function of AI or some other digitally savvy approach to cultivating existing information as we are reaching out to targeted individuals and organizations to hear directly from them.

We believe that there is immense value in the accumulated expert opinions that inform the items we include in our online inventory. With so much cheaply manufactured stuff in the marketplace, we strive to identify quality products that can add value to your adventure and encourage you to take advantage by using the links provided. In order to keep the lights on and allow us to continue our endless outreach to outfitters and guides we do receive, at no cost to our users, a small fee from the owners of the affiliate links we use.
